🩺 Supporting Every Dog's Health
每天，巴克幫都照顧著將近 170 隻狗狗，其中超過 60% 都是年長或因疾病需要長期照護。有些狗狗正在與心臟病、腎臟病、關節退化共處；有些則需要接受手術、住院或長期復健。對他們來說，醫療不只是治療疾病，更是讓生活能夠繼續的希望。巴克幫希望，不論狗狗還有多久的生命，都能舒服地吃飯、自在地散步、安心地睡覺，而不是因為醫療資源不足，被迫放棄治療。
Every day, PACK cares for nearly 170 rescued dogs, and more than 60% are senior dogs or dogs living with long-term medical conditions. Some are managing heart disease, kidney disease, or arthritis, while others require surgery, hospitalization, or ongoing rehabilitation.For these dogs, medical care is about more than treating illness—it's about giving them the chance to keep living with comfort and dignity. No matter how much time they have left, we hope every dog can enjoy a good meal, a peaceful walk, and a safe place to rest, without having to miss treatment because of limited resources.
🩺 每一筆醫療費，都代表一次重新站起來的機會
園區的醫療支出主要分為兩大類：
① 長期慢性病照護
例如：心臟病、腎臟病、關節退化、貧血、中風後照護、長期用藥與定期追蹤...等等
② 急性疾病與緊急治療
例如：急性胃扭轉手術、腫瘤手術、脾臟疾病、腸胃疾病、外傷治療、住院照護、血液檢查、X 光、超音波等檢查、緊急輸血與加護照護...等等
每一次看診、每一次檢查、每一場手術，都需要龐大的醫療資源支持。其中，若狗狗因重大手術、焦蟲症或其他緊急狀況需要輸血，一次血袋費用就高達約 NT$30,000，對園區而言都是不小的負擔。
🩺 Every Medical Expense Gives a Dog Another Chance
Medical care at PACK generally falls into two areas: long-term care for chronic conditions and emergency treatment. Many of our dogs live with heart disease, kidney disease, arthritis, anemia, or require ongoing medication and regular check-ups. Others may suddenly need emergency surgery for gastric torsion (bloat), tumor removal, spleen disorders, gastrointestinal illnesses, injury treatment, hospitalization, blood tests, X-rays, ultrasound examinations, or even intensive care.
Every veterinary visit, diagnostic test, and surgery requires significant medical resources. In critical situations—such as major surgeries, tick-borne diseases, or other life-threatening emergencies—a single blood transfusion can cost around NT$30,000 (approximately USD 1,000). Every donation helps ensure that our dogs receive the medical care they need, giving them the chance to heal, stay comfortable, and enjoy each day with dignity. 🧡
