Help Feed the 170 Dogs at PACK
狗狗們每天早上都會開心地聚集在自己的碗前，搖著尾巴等待放飯。對大多數人來說，吃飯是每天再平凡不過的小事；但對許多曾經流浪的孩子而言，能夠每天安心吃飽，是得來不易的幸福。
曾經流浪的日子裡，他們不知道下一餐會在哪裡，只能四處尋找食物。也因此，即使來到園區很久了，許多狗狗仍會迫不及待地吃著碗裡的飼料，因為曾經挨餓的記憶，並不會一下子消失。
Every morning, the dogs gather around their bowls with wagging tails, excited for breakfast. For most of us, having a meal every day is something we rarely think about. But for many of these rescued dogs, a full bowl of food is a comfort they once lived without.Before coming to PACK, many of them spent their days searching for food, never knowing when they would eat again. Even after living safely at the shelter, some still finish their meals as quickly as they can. The memories of hunger don't disappear overnight.
💰每一餐背後，都是長期的照顧與壓力
目前，巴克幫園區照顧著將近 170 隻狗狗，其中超過 60% 都是年長或因疾病需要長期照護。為了照顧他們的日常生活，園區每月需要約 2,040 公斤的飼料，基本飼料支出就高達約 NT$102,000。再加上高齡照護、疾病治療、腸胃保健等所需的處方飼料、特殊配方飼料與營養補充，每月整體飲食照護費用超過 NT$150,000。
相較於一般狗狗，他們更需要精準的營養照護，才能維持體力、穩定病況，讓每一天都過得更舒服、更有品質。每一包飼料，不只是填飽肚子，更是支撐他們健康生活的重要力量，也是陪伴他們安心走過每一天的守護。
💰 Every Meal Represents Long-Term Care
PACK is home to nearly 170 rescued dogs, and more than 60% are senior dogs or dogs with long-term medical needs. Every month, the shelter uses about 2,040 kg (4,500 lbs) of dog food, with total food and nutritional care costs exceeding NT$150,000 (USD 5,100).Many of these dogs require prescription diets, senior formulas, or specialized nutrition to stay healthy and comfortable. Every bag of dog food helps provide not just a meal, but the care they need to live well every day.
